Two laborers make a disturbing revelation in a more established Copenhagen loft: holed up behind a bogus divider are three preserved carcasses, lounging around a feasting table with one void seat left. The case rapidly winds up on the work area of Detective Superintendent CARL MØRCK and his right hand, ASSAD, and it is dependent upon them to make sense of, who the mummies are just as who the fourth seat is intended for. Carl and Assad put all exertion in to finding the occupant of the loft and they end up discovering pieces of information following back to the infamous foundation for ‘wayward’ young ladies on the island of Sprogø, where extraordinary disregard and therapeutic trials in constrained disinfection are a piece of regular day to day existence. Despite the fact that the revulsions of Sprogø are a shut section in Danish history, there are currently individuals guaranteeing the investigations have kept on going on up until today. Carl and Assad begin a race against time to keep new homicides and assaults from occurring.
